Meal preparation at home

Cooking, planning, meals

Eating well is the first thing to go when cooking takes too long. And undernutrition in an older person is rarely noticed before the hospital notices it.

Verified providers · Montreal and the South Shore · no contract, no minimum hours

What this service covers

  • Cooking lunch and dinner
  • Batch cooking and freezing portions for the week
  • Adapted meals: diabetic, low-sodium, modified texture
  • Menu planning and the grocery list
  • Help with eating and staying hydrated
  • Snacks, and checking what has gone past its date

This list is a starting point, not a closed menu. You describe what you need and the provider tells you what they can do.

For you, or for someone you love

A provider can cook on site for the week, adapt meals to diabetes or a low-sodium diet, and leave portions ready in the freezer. For many families it is the visit that changes everything: it settles the food, and it also settles the fact that somebody came by to see how things were.
